What is Line Dancing? For me Line Dancing is all about having some fun, dancing to some good music without the need for a dance partner. If you have ever done the Nutbush with a group of people then you have technically Line Danced! Line Dancing is a choreographed set of steps, generally put to a particular song (often you can do most dances to just about any song), with a group of dancers in 'Lines' moving at the same time, in the same direction. This is a very basic definition but we are here to have fun! Can I Do It? Of course you can! Anyone can. All ages, all abilities, everyone from all walks of life. When I instruct I let everyone know that if you struggle with a particular issue (Bad Knee's, Ankle's, or whatever) then adjust the steps to suit your ability. So long as you are not going to crash into someone else and you enjoy yourself then great. Where Should I Start? Check out the 'Classes' Page where I have broken down different levels of dancing with some descriptions. This will help pick the right class for you and your level of experience.

TESTIMONIALS

Hayley S.

As someone who has always loved dancing, I’m so glad I found Tropical Boots. It can be so nerve racking trying something new (especially if you’re coming on your own) but Trent is a great teacher and the classes are so much fun, with a welcoming atmosphere. There are so many different people who come, with all different levels and abilities, which really helps with feeling comfortable and at ease while dancing. Highly recommend if you want to give line dancing a go or looking for something different to do as exercise.
